The XM-18 3.5" Spanto is without a doubt the flagship model and grind combination for Rick Hinderer Knives! The blade embodies what the brand is all about with it's reinforced tip is ground for harduse. This combination of grind and model is a knife that every Herder should own!
While the wood is stabilized, it does retain a lot of it's wood qualities. This does include holes or voids in the scale. The stabilization will help with warping due to humidity but does not completely eliminate the possibility of movement due to various environmental factors.
